Over the past 9 years Bill has focused his efforts on providing value for dollar to the residents of the city. He believes this means maintaining a balanced approach in providing quality facilities, programs and services to residents. Elected for the first time in 2001 at the age of 24, Bill is the youngest person to ever serve on Grande Prairie City Council.
In his three terms with the City, Bill has been appointed to a wide range of committees and boards including all standing committees of council and a wide variety of community organizations. Recently, Bill completed the University of Alberta's National Advanced Certificate in Local Authority Administration (NACLAA), a nationally recognized credential for local government administrators.
Outside of council, Bill enjoys all kinds of team sports & coaching. Bill recently married Susan and together they are enjoying newlywed life.
